Rotary Club Chandigarh organised RYLA for Rotaractors on Saturday 7th October, 2023 at Rotary House for an in-depth insight into the fundamentals of leadership, and its application in one's life especially now when the youth is grappling with the challenges of AI, cyber attacks, and digital media replacing personal touch and empathy. President Rotary club Chandigarh Mr.Anil Chadda emphasised on the need to learn various leadership skills and Rotary’s role in encouraging youth to step up.
This was the second RYLA hosted by Rotary Club this year under the guidance of Director Youth Service Rtn. Rashi Adlakha and RYLA Chair Rtn. AP Singh. It was inaugurated by chief guest Prof. Ashish Khosla, Co Founder of Shoolini University and Director of Yogananda School of AI at Shoolini. He is also a serial entrepreneur. His insightful presentation challenged the youth to explore the limitless potential of their brain and its unique capacity to master anything. He demonstrated this power by making some of the participants remember a 20-digit number in a jiffy.
Director of Institute of Correctional Administration Rtn Dr. Upneet Lalli spoke about Conflict Resolution, while Rtn Dr Ritu expounded on the fundamentals of leadership. Rtn CJ Singh discussed the concept of effective leadership through strategic Communication. Dr Gowri Bhardwaj touched upon the dinner nuances on the role of personal image management through grooming tips. Mr. Ananya Gautam spoke on cyber frauds and awareness on social media accounts. Mr. Vivek Dutt shared insights into Artificial Intelligence and simulating human mind through machines. PE & Rotaract Chair Rtn Jatinder Kapur proposed a formal vote of thanks.
