  Badminton Competition   Inter trade two day Badminton Competition was organized on dated 24 February 2023 in Longowal Group of colleges, Derabassi.The students participated with great sportsmen spirit and gave their best. Electrical Engineering won the First position, whereas Applied Sciences bagged Second position followed by Mechanical Engineering with third position. Dr.Rosy Katyal Principal of Longowal Polytechnic wing distributed medals, trophies to winner teams with certificates. She said that it had been endeavor of the college to ensure all round development of the students. Dr.Vinod Katyal Principal of Longowal Academic wing called upon the students to play with sportsman spirit.Smt. Kanta Katyal Chairperson of the college congratulated all the winners and participants who spiritedly took part in championship.

Longowal Group of Colleges, Derabassi conducted Swachhta Pakhwada and ‘Drawing Competition’ in the campus of Polytechnic wing on 09 February 2023. Honorable Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi has initiated this move and we all are going to work hard to fulfill this dream.  All the students, faculty members participated in this work with great enthusiasm.

  Deworming Day is a big initiative campaign run by the government of India to make people aware about worm infections. its bad effects on the health and cure and prevent further infection through deworming  tablets.

  National Deworming Day is observed in our country to reduce the cases of worm infections among kids. Kids are vulnerable to the worm infections in their childhood. so it is very necessary to save them from worm infection through good habit practices and deworming tablets.
