𝐈𝐍𝐃𝐄𝐏𝐄𝐍𝐃𝐄𝐍𝐂𝐄 𝐃𝐀𝐘 𝐂𝐄𝐋𝐄𝐁𝐑𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍𝐒

India is proudly celebrating its 77th Independence Day, marking 76 years of freedom. The theme for this year’s celebration is “Nation First, Always First,” an integral part of the broader “Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav” Celebration. Being part of these celebrations, Independence Day is celebrated in Longowal Group of Colleges, Derabassi with great enthusiasm and fervour. Dr.Kapil Katyal, the Vice Chairman of the college, unfurled the National Flag, which was followed by the recitation of the National Anthem and patriotic songs presented by the students. Smt. Kanta Katyal, (Chairperson) graced the occasion with her benign presence. Dr.Rosy katyal (Principal), recalled the sacrifices made by our freedom fighters and encouraged the students to work towards realizing the dreams of our founding fathers. The students presented the cultural diversity and unity through their speeches and dance performances. Sweets were distributed among the students.
