The 74th Republic Day
The 74th Republic Day was celebrated with all its solemnity and grandeur at Longowal Group of Colleges and WCITI, Derabassi on 26th January 2023 .Dr.Kapil Katyal, the Vice Chairman of the college, unfurled the national flag and addressed the students reminding them of the sacrifices of freedom fighters and also sang a patriotic song. Students of different states performed various dances, speeches and sang songs to show unity in diversity.
Smt. Kanta Katyal, Chairperson of the college shared the importance of Republic Day with students.Dr.Rosy katyal (Principal) saluted the national flag and told the students about the diversity and uniqueness of India. Staff took pride in glorifying and celebrating the spirit of unity and take pledge to work for development of country.
Sweets and snacks were distributed among the staff and students.
